Great focus comparisons Bernie. Winter can provide still beauty. It rained all night here, last night, si I think I better go find my skates. Happy Thursday. Allan

Beautiful photos. Serene and pleasant to see whilst sipping hot coffee inside my warm house.

It actually was quite warm but not as warm as today. We are enjoying a tropical January right now and when the polar vortex hits then I might be like you and enjoy it from inside my house. Bernie

Ah thanks Kirstin! That building draws me back regularly in all sorts of seasons and times of day. Luckily it’s about 2kms. from our house! Nice to hear from you. I tried to leave a comment on your latest post but not sure it went through. Bernie

I’ll have to look. I know it sometimes shows anonymous, but now I can often tell who it is that is commenting if they don’t say. I haven’t figured out how to fix that in Blogger, and things I read says the commenter has to do something but I have no idea. 😦

Thanks Cee — we’ve had a LOT of fog so that was an easy one and I adore fence posts (do a lot of fencepostfriday posts on Instagram). Thanks for viewing them and stopping in to leave a comment. Bernie

There are so many reasons to love winter, and one of them is definitely the snow! There’s nothing like waking up one morning to find a bed of freshly fallen, pure white snow on your lawn. Thanks for sharing and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

LOL, Aiva. We wake up in October to it and see it every day till March or April! So winter haters get down, but I love it. By March, I’m ready for green, but that doesn’t happen! Hope things are well in your green world! Thanks for stopping by. Bernie

Thanks. It wasn’t cold at all, so stopping to play for pictures was easy. Now, if we’d get some sunshine, it would be even more beautiful!

Definitely not cold. -8 so 46. Not a stitch of wind. I was so hot after. 2 km. snowshoe even though I had only used light layers. And you are my inspiration for triple dipping!

Good to hear, Bernie! 46F is not cold to me either. Glad you got in a snow shoe session.

Our options are snow shoe or walk on the gravel road and we all prefer the pasture so snow shoe probably 5 to 6 times a week. Bernie
