#Sundaystills meets the 12 Festive BonBon’s

For several years I posted daily in December. My friend and I do an Kindness Advent Calendar and the posts tied into the activities. It was, I felt at the time, a chance to connect with readers and encourage them to see the season in a Kindness frame. It was fairly taxing pulling together a post every day along with the activities so this year I am switching things up. I am still committed to the Kindness Advent Calendar but I am attempting a multi blog challenge here with this one post that will cover “all bases”.

Refueling

Today’s advent activity started early this am, although not on purpose.

Motley Crew

They are a motley trio, waiting for their advent day to shine. Their characters though are studded with bittersweet memories.

Walk time

We tried to do the advent activity fully together but didn’t sustain it for long. I think it’s something to do with cadence.

Loafing Around

I wasn’t entirely sure where (more correctly who) I was slanting this advent activity towards when I started baking. I saw a reciepe, had the ingredients and went for it.

Sparkle time

There was no mad dash this year to find a sparkly Christmas outfit for the OR annual dinner and dance. Not much need this year for any kind of sparkle actually which is why today’s activity was kind of nice change.

Rude Interruption

I am breaking into the regularly scheduled program of Advent Calendars with this rude interruption of a post. I honestly have to get this out of my system. Later today I will resume our gratitude and kindness but for today there is a rant coming on. This time, unlike The Rant! (which was just a frustrated reveal of working in a public health care system and making due), it’s a shove at the government, the premier and many citizens of our province that are making choices that impact us all.

Gonna be a challenge

Today’s activity requires a)early morning activity (ugh) and b) determination. It will be good for me but I must be organized. It almost falls in line with self care and is something I should do more often.

Easy peasy

I actually had to look up my title idea as it seemed so easy that I had probably used it before. Turns out I haven’t and it definitely fits today’s advent activity.

Who knew

Well who knew that this would end up being so blinking complex! Seemed like a simple enough advent activity and a treat for ourselves.
