Gratitude Glimpsed

I’ve been a bit

off lately as noticed by a few friends. A lengthy morning kitchen table chat with a visiting travel friend, a fun event with ex work friends and a few hours sewing in the quiet have settled me.

The gratitude simply rules. So much to be grateful for that it overrules the adjustment period (more about that in a other blog post later). The list is endless and anyone who reads this probably shares a lot of the same items. Things we take for granted as well as things we’ve worked hard for. Things we were gifted by our grace of birth and upbringing.

The quiet of late twilight settles around my shoulders. I’m blessed, grateful and lucky that all is truly well in my world.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.
