Six Word Synapse of April

April unfolds, spinning quickly through life.

April

Active April, setting goals and committing

Unfolds

Her life’s clothes into a memory quilt

Spinning

Wild weather, crocus bounty on prairie

Quickly

Jayden turns one, wearing a smile

Through

Sleepovers and playdates our hearts fill

Life

Family and friends enrich our loves

What’s been on your calendar post.

In six word increments with pictures.

Short, to the point, like me.

Daily posts 3six5snap for Active April.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.

  1. Beautiful collage of pictures and series of six words to sum up April! Seems like a memorable month with friends and family. Hope the wild weather is over. We just came back from holidays and I’m slowly catching up on all my WP readings.

    1. I found this a lovely challenging way to do a monthly recap. Now I am wondering how to top that in May! It was indeed a good month but then I am living in a grateful state at this point in my life. Ah — you’ve been traveling with the little one. I am looking forward to your posts. Thanks for catching up here. Bernie

      1. We took a two week road trip through Colorado and New Mexico. She surprisingly did really well on the flight. She loved being in the baby carrier, but started to resent the car seat towards the end. Happy to be back home and to get started on the garden!

      2. Ah yes the car seat — too many miles = a cranky child! I am glad that over all she travelled well. I am sure she loved the hikes. I love that she hasn’t changed your life style one bit! Bernie

    1. I find the 2 day time period a challenge so thought hm. A less wordy post would help and hit on 6WS. I did take license to expand the original 6 words but for me that’s pretty succinct. Thanks for hosting. Bernie

  3. Hi, Bernie – Your six words synapsis for April is absolutely beautiful. To join in, I hastily copied my #WBOYC post into WordCloud and these are the six words that it highlighted for me: Mom, Kelowna, Support, Richard, Dogs and Home. Sounds about right! ❤

    1. I am so glad you liked my new take on WBYOC. I get too wordy and the weekends are so BUSY that with only a 3 day window to get the post done it can be a challenge. So this hit the spot so to speak. Yes your 6 words sound about right. Thanks again for hosting. Bernie

    1. April can be a fickle month that is for sure. We managed it without turning our heat back on but it was close during that crazy blizzard!! Hopefully May will be more cooperative! Bernie

      1. Thanks Bernie — mostly it’s that I’ve caught the cold that was in the house when I got here. :) :( LOL — school and children equals colds too! :)
