A home run

Literally. We ran to get home.

From one end of Toronto’s Airport to the other. I haven’t ran that far or that fast in a long long time! They didn’t want to let us on but there were 4 of us so numbers counted I guess.

We left Charlottetown late (to a pretty sunset) and then sat on the tarmac in Toronto. When we disembarked we had 4 minutes. We heard the final call as we were searching for what gate number. So we ran. All those days of biking helped for sure but what a way to end the trip.

We had traveled carry on only flying east bound but with 6 lobster as carry on we checked a bag. No surprise at all that it didn’t make it! Supposedly already tagged for the late flight to Saskatoon. Seems weird as there are 4 earlier flights but let’s just hope it shows up.

There will be a more comprehensive follow up post but it will wait for a day or two. Time for grandchildren, children, lobsters and laughter tonight.

Before I even managed to hit publish the luggage arrived at our door!!

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.
