White on white #WordlessWednesday

White on white on white

Falling and swirling around

It’s a white world
Weak sunlight, mega snow movement from the tractor snowblower
No hot tub for a while! Slowly digging out.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.

  1. I love your winter photos, Bernie 🙂 The cold and darker conditions might seduce you to stay inside close to the fireplace. But it would be a pity to store your camera just because summer and autumn are over. Winter is such a great time for capturing some spectacular landscape images. Snow and frost will instantly transform a landscape and on top of that simplify the picture and they will make any view look beautiful. If the light is right, you can get some truly fantastic winter shots. And even when the light is low, there are always occasions to discover soft and magnificent scenes. Thanks for sharing and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

    1. There are times Aiva where the camera has to stay in as it’s too cold for fingers! I try to ensure I am outside every day except when the conditions are too unbearable like a couple of weeks ago. This week is “ok” cold and we have so much snow to move that everyday is outside fitness time! I agree that photos can happen in less light but man my SAD needs some sunshine badly! Thanks for dropping by. Nice to hear from you and I hope you had a good holiday season. Bernie

    1. LOL it’s no longer that cold and I suspect you might have even more snow than we do. But yes I do try to “work smart” whether it be for temperature or icy conditions. Hope you had a good holiday season despite the wicked weather in the States. Bernie

  2. Amazing pictures Bernie and I love your talent of conveying so much in just a few words. I have finally posted a comment after slowly making my way through your “back catalogue” and loving it! Heidi (of runrideroam!)

    1. LOL Heidi. I have a huge back catalogue to look through and I am sure you have better things to do as you roam around Auz! Thanks for stopping in and the compliment about the photos and my writing. It’s always nice to connect with readers. Bernie

    1. All 3 walk out doors/windows were totally covered. If it just snowed it would be ok but it blows and swirls and packs it in hard. Keep talking about a snow fence but we are never quite sure where to put it. Bernie

    1. And Janis I am so happy to see it. I love the fresh white snow, especially if the sun is shining off of it like right now. Not to worry about the dressing appropriately – we are pretty seasoned at this living in a cold climate thing. Bernie

    1. Yes the 10′ wall is totally covered. Both sets of doors were covered as was the window. It was so dark down there. More digging to do today. Maybe by New Year’s Eve will have it all cleaned out. Bernie Ps I took care of the gremlins in your comment!!
