Wordless Wednesday Walk

The setting, the company, the love, the joy. No words needed.

I’ve written many posts about these special friendships. The most recent was my-friend-my-sister.

There was an unstated yet conscious urgency to our gathering that had little to do with Covid. The pandemic meant that it had been too long. But, and it’s a huge but, health is the underlying current. As we age “issues” crop up; substantial things like cancer and heart disease. It makes every occasion a special one as we continue to celebrate friendships that began at the same time as our nursing careers, some 4 1/2 decades ago.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.

    1. Yes this time with my special group of friends was much needed. We were all careful before to ensure that everyone was healthy. Yes indeed life is short but you don’t realize that till 60 and there is a lot of water under the bridge by then! Take care and thanks for stopping in to engage with a wordless post! Bernie
