If the blog prompt had been about Burl Wood or a burl of wood it would have seemed easy. Instead this week’s theme is burlywood, the colour. Which I had to look up only to find out it’s a boring beige really. Ugh but I’ve decided to rise to the challenge.

Thursday’s Crossroads

The crossroads sign can stop us and send us down a sunny dirt road and sometimes it’s just that. Occasionally a deer or moose can come out of no where and smack. It’s even possible for a tornado to pick up your vehicle. Sometimes the road literally falls away.

SundayStills My Silver Lining

I’ve used the basis of these words “silver lining” for a title before but this particular time they actually are in reference to a song title and not a perspective on life. I also stuck a pronoun in front of it because I want to make it personal. How these words affect my life and what my silver lining is and has been for the last 40+ years.

Rotisserie Facts

The fun thing about rotisserie pain induced insomnia is how your mind can just flit around like a squirrel and it doesn’t matter one watt. So in my spare time between 11 and 3 I made a random list of useless info to share and then tried to commit it to memory. Without further ado here it is.
