Walk time

We tried to do the advent activity fully together but didn’t sustain it for long. I think it’s something to do with cadence.

We are regular walkers; dog(s) are good motivators as they need their exercise daily so out we go no matter the weather. Today’s activity on the base level is always a win. A chance to go for soul cleansing walk to acknowledge that is it winter solstice. Which means the days start to get longer again! We didn’t get a stellar sunset and weren’t able to Jupiter and Saturn tonight and we did not manage to hold hands for long (cadence, stride length and height discrepancy we decided) and it was a very quiet walk as we contemplated the challenging times we are all facing.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.

    1. Thanks Donna. It will certainly start out peaceful and quiet as we are back in lockdown until Jan 15. Perhaps I can have a small birthday celebration on the 16th — really all I want is a hug from my kids and grandchildren. Thanks for dropping in and commenting Donna. Have a safe holiday season.

  1. Walks are good for body and soul. My wife is with you on the hand holding and the strides. I have had to adapt as has she. Glad you got out for a walk. Stay well Bernie. Allan
