GT 2020

The best way to fight the dull winter blues is to embrace winter. Which is exactly what we did this afternoon. We made time to go “GTing” with the littles. Squeals of delight and falling off on purpose. “Faster Grampa faster” I heard as I tried to snap a picture of the three of them zipping down the driveway.

Sure there was a bite to the wind and it was a dull day but I am so glad that the advent activity today focused on going outside. It was the best gift we could have given ourselves, fun time with the littles that light up our life. The pup had fun, the horses frolicked beside us in the pasture and even one of the pigs came out to see what we were up to. All in all time so well spent!

The little things?

The little moments?

They aren’t little.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.

  1. This defines “Little Pleasures”. Too many simply want excitement all the time. I say, we make our own excitement if we never lose the wonder of a child. Stay well and stay warm Bernie. Allan

    1. It’s true that they see things from a totally different perspective at their age. It’s so joyful to be around them.
Temps dropped over night so now we have blue skies and sunshine! I will take it as it helps my mental health. Thanks for dropping in to comment. Stay safe Allan.

  2. We did the same for Blairs birthday! Weiner roast fine dining and a small extended family, socially distant, gathering.

    1. Glad the weather was warm enough for an outside gathering – seems to have dropped like crazy over night but at least the sun is shining today. Birthday wishes to Blair from us. Take care and stay safe my friend.
