Slip Start

There are times when navigation becomes difficult and it is easy to blame it on

age but perhaps it is even challenging for those who grew up with technology. I try hard to stay on top of the tech stuff and use the “features” of the remote or word press or excel regularly so that I can work with them at ease.

This is not one of those times. This first post in 2020 is all about how I can’t find the inside comment button. The one that has disappeared from my last two posts for unknown reasons. I’ve spent at least an hour looking on the inside of word press and thinking I have done all the right things only to find no difference on the “face” page of the blog.

On the plus side I can remember when I needed a cheat sheet to be able to upload photos into the blog. I also had one for excel spreadsheets. Today those things are simple.

The morale of the story is to just keep trying and don’t be afraid of failure. Keep working those brain cells. Now excuse me while I go play a word game!

Happy New Year.

PS please leave me some words of wisdom if the comment spot is there. Also consider that it’s a learning opportunity for the reader who doesn’t regularly comment. Which translates into a nice start to my new year as I hear from those near and far.

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.

    1. Haha — except for the “bad” Oreo crumbs, no Graham wafers, less than half the peanut butter I needed and not enough cream cheese! Between these two things (blog comments and peanut butter cheesecake) I’m not off to an auspicious start! So it can only get better right?

  1. Keeping the learning game strong!! Well done…and Happy New Year with new challenges and accomplishments!!!

  2. Yay. Happy New Year. I wondered if you just did not want comments any more. I always struggle to find out which setting does what on computer, programs and WordPress, as well. Just keep looking and we will eventually find it, I guess. All the best in 2020. Allan

  3. Happy New Year 2020 from your much older cousin who is at least that many years behind in the tech world! Hope you have a great year ahead.
