Sturdy Steps

As it turns out my evasive actions weren’t really required but it’s better safe than sorry.I decided today that it was time for the Miss Moos boots to take the backseat and brought out the sturdy hiking boots. In amongst all the Scotch distillery stops I wanted to hike out to an old Celtic cross.Which it turns out is literally by the parking lot. Which is right by the lunch table: just an honesty box for the money. We grabbed a sultana and chocolate flap jack. It went nicely with our usual lunch fair as we are now out of the chocolate chip cookies I’d packed from home.A few hours later we came across another Celtic cross in another Church yard; again accessible from the parking lot. Then finally the boots saw some mild action when we walked out to the War Graves cemetery and then down to Mahair Bay Beach. We felt quite fortunate that although it was cool and windy we only had wee snippets of rain. There was even some sunshine that we saw up on Jura paps. All in all a day worthy of any pair of boots. The new phone/camera has been super busy taking SO many pictures but alas I can’t post them allBernie

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.
