TBT to Monograms

It turns out I’m not usually quite organized enough to get a timely TBT (Throw Back Thursday) post up and published before Thursday disappears. Somehow it seems easy but I often fall short and then just delete the post.

I spent today quilting with a friend up in the sunny attic. It was a lovely day. I’ve been working on a quilt for my new little grandson which reminded me of the one I did for his big sister. Plus I was thinking about bindings and monograms and I was like that’s an easy TBT to the one I did on LittleA’s quilt.

No. No it’s not. I can’t access those photos as they aren’t on my phone as that phone poached in Ottawa. They aren’t on the laptop and I am getting a strange message when I try to open them on the computer. URG. But then weirdly enough I can upload them here?!? What the…..

IMG_5737I just learnt today that male monograms are different than female ones so think I have that cased. I am going to do the hand embroidery one again and not even fool around with my machine. It gives it the personal Nan touch. Soon Baby C will have his very own personal one to keep him warm and cherished.

The best part of quilts is that they grow up with the child and are used for all sorts of things. Like hot chocolate picnics after going to visit the horses.

Aka Nan

I have had a love of the written word for my entire life. It's no surprise that eventually I found a platform where I could write. It's random; sometimes funny, occasionally sad, maybe even at times from anger and I lean towards creative photography and hands on crafts. I have a few blogs that high light these interests.
